the Crimson Tide was in Oxford town this weekend. sadly, i didn't get the chance to go. but don't feel too bad for me. i spent the weekend at my family's place at the beach. it was fun, relaxing and i have to say... my parents have some really fun friends! i'm quite the weekend traveler. i got it from my parents and i hope to be this way forever. i love home. but weekend's away? so much fun! the beach was beautiful and you'd never guess it's the middle of October when you're sweating from walking store to store.

i decided that i needed some retail therapy. and i'm going to need a financial advisor soon. but the therapy and cute clothes for the next few weekends that i'll be in tuscaloosa? totally, completely worth it! i thought i'd share on my little blog the cute outfits i found. here goes...

first stop? deja vu! it's my favorite boutique! and now that i've found out you can order off their website (with some really sweet deals) i'm like a kid in a candy store! here's what i found...

here's the only other picture i found of my shopping spree. my sweet friends (who got engaged on my birthday!!!) are getting married in february... i saw this dress and immediately knew it's the one i'll wear! i found it at another cute boutique!!

you can check out the florida house facebook page and see stuff as they get it in! too cute!! i also bought another dress (to wear with cowboy boots), and a tank top to pair with jeans and a sweater for these upcoming Fall days! and my Target trip? a tan, versatile cardigan!! let me tell you. retail therapy is good :)

on another note, i keep reminding myself over and over how good life really is! sometimes i get bogged down in job searching, working and living the day-to-day life that i forget how God has a hand in this life of mine! i forget how good my parents are and how my friends fill my heart to the brim. life's so good and i forget to remind myself  of that blessing. thankfully, God reminds me as he keeps on putting the GOOD STUFF in my life. His Grace is so good!!
