The End is Near

Finals week is coming... and FAST!
This is what the table in front of me looks like. Mayyyyybe this is an exaggeration?! Maybe not?! It's the end of "Dead Week" here at the Capstone! And do you know why it's called "Dead Week?" Because you're not so sure you'll survive it! I did. I think?!

Leigh 2 - Life 5,840,353,478! Oh well!

Onto catch up on my last post:
Tomorrow will mark one week since I made the decision to let go, learn and grow so
I can HELP someone else! And myself. As you can see, it hasn't been a 'walk in the park.' I've struggled. I've fallen down. I've admitted my pride. I'm broken. I don't have it all together, but I'm okay. There's always a bright side, always...

'Cause I've got AWESOME grades this semester {except Media Law} but that doesn't count anyway. Right?! {{Plus, I've got the BOOK for reference. Isn't that what college is about, anyway? Not always KNOWING the information, but knowing how to get it? Anyway... this library is forcing me to develop ADD. }} 'Cause I've got friends to pick me up when I'm down. 'Cause God is consistent and all-knowing! 'Cause I admitted to some of my friends that... I NEED them. And WANT them to BE THERE! And they are! I should have known all along. 'Cause I've got an awesome family and the BEST parents!

And 'cause I had Thai food last night with the girls who have made my college experience over the last 3 1/2 years. 'Cause MOST of us {and the boys} surprised one of my best friends {Laura} with a Birthday get-together. And if my computer would cooperate, I would show you all the fun pictures from last night. Maybe soon!

Now, back to writing papers about the "American Dream" and ideologies and lyrics and a self-analysis of the work I have done with a group throughout the semester.

There is a bright side, right?
