One of my real life friends and sorority sister, Stephanie, posted a comment in my "remembering days" post that's really had me thinking today. She said, "It's amazing how quickly some things change and how long it takes other things change."

And I think she's so right! It's an accurate account of what I've been going through and what we all go through in life. Things can change in a matter of seconds and then you spend hours, days, weeks and months getting used to all of those changes caused from the other changes from the other changes that changed that one thing. You know? Is running away appealing? Abso-freakin'-lutely!!!!!!!!! Sign me up! But when the dust settles, the struggles are still going to be there. That's just how life goes. So, I'm not trying to runaway.

I'm running TOWARD something.

A place that's more permanent, a career, a group of friends, a place of my own, a church and a community to surround me. I'm just looking for my niche! And that's a good thing.
