It's a little victory.

"This time, I'll be sailing No more bailing boats for me I'll be out here on the sea Just my confidence and me And I'll be awful sometimes Weakened to my knees But I'll learn to get by On the little victories This time, I'll have no fear I'll be standing strong and tall Turn my back toward them all And I'll be awful sometimes Weakened to my knees I'll learn to get by And I'll learn to get by On the little victories And if the world decides to catch up with me It's a little victory."

Matt Nathanson, you said it.

Oh, this sweet life. Surprises. Struggles. Laughter. And tears. I've been so busy, so stressed, so hurried going through life the past few weeks. You know tryin' to fit it all in? Like the long walks, the sauna at the gym, the nights out with friends, Tuscaloosa's most famous restaurants, laughin' with the bestest friends that God sent... and then there's the last minute assignments.

Life's been a little difficult, just as much as it is wonderful. Finals are near. I've been so busy trying to LIVE life that I've forgotten to take it in.

To remember. To stop and relax. To enjoy.

Spring is a time for new things. Such is my life right now. Got to embrace this new thing.
But I will enjoy the old, for now. But this part of my life ending is a little victory.

And I darn well better start seeing it as such!

Hi Leigh! I saw that you followed my blog and thought I'd drop by to say hello. I am from Headland, went to school in Dothan and graduated with my Masters from UA in adv & PR! I'd say we have quite a bit in common. And not to worry... you will get it ALL figured out!
