Stay in your lane.

Do any of you have phrases you repeat in your head?
Little things to remind you to calm down, focus, hold it in, or let it out?

Do I? Boy, oh, boy do I ever!

My favorite professor... umm, probably EVER...
Well, she taught me something last week...

STAY      IN      YOUR      LANE

Technicallyyyyy it's a public relations term. No big deal.
You know? To keep people from trying to handle what's beyond their scope.
I'm trying to learn. I'm trying to let go. I'm trying to not expect so much.
And most of all, I'm trying to learn what God's teaching me through this.
He's reminding me I have a lot left to learn. So, not only have I learned how to
write cover letters, resumes, professional e-mails, feature stories, PSA's,
news articles and situational analyses...
I've received life lessons here at the Capstone, too.
RTR! And it's the perfect phrase to add to my list.
It's also the perfect prayer to send up to The Big Guy.
Lord knows, I need His help with this one.

I often pray this Presby hymn from my childhood...

"Melt me, Mold me
Fill me, Use me,
Spirit of, the living God
Fall fresh on me."
